Kala Patthar

Kala Patthar, meaning ‘black rock’ in Nepali, is a notable landmark located on the south ridge of Pumori in the Nepalese Himalayas. Kala Patthar is very popular with trekkers in the region of Mount Everest, since it provides the most accessible point to view Mt. Everest. Kala Patthar provides the most wonderful sight of sunrise over Mt. Everest and other Himalayan peaks such as Nuptse, Ama Dablam and Pumori. You would not want to miss that.

Sep – Nov and Mar – May [Autumn & spring] is the best month. You have to do Everest base Camp trek to reach Kalapathar. Kalapathar is a few hours hike from Gorekshep.

Poon hill will leave you mesmerized with its exotic landscape and the panorama of the nearby northern mountain ranges. This brilliant viewpoint provides a clear sunrise over the high Himalayas and the wide range of panoramic scenery from the far western Himalaya of Dolpo, Mt. Dhaulagiri, and Annapurna including Mt. Machhapuchhre (Fish Tail) and all the way to Manasalu.

Mar – June and Sept – Dec are the best months. There is no any means of transportation so you have to trek for 2 day from Nayapul to reach Poon hill. You can be a part of our Annapurna Panorama trek.

A famous tourist destination if you happen to be in Pokhara. Located at an altitude of 1600 meters on a mountain ridge, Sarangkot brings you an amazing panoramic mountain views. The Slow rising sun touching the white snow capped Himalayan peaks like Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Machhapuchhare giving it a golden glow effect is truly a breathtaking view and a magical moment one can cherish in their lifetime.

October to April is the best month to visit Sarangkot. It takes half an hour to reach Sarangkot via road. Keep in mind that you have to walk approx half an hour from the drop of point to the view point.

The picturesque beauty of the place makes it a much admired hiking route for tourists. A popular hill station; Nagarkot is at an elevation of 2,195 meters located 32 km east of Kathmandu. Nagarkot is one of the broadest viewpoints of Himalayas in Kathmandu valley with 8 Himalayan ranges out of 13. Be mesmerized when the mountain ranges from east to west [Everest to Dhaulagiri] picks up the shade of red and yellow with the rising sun.

October to April is considered as the best month. It is a 2 hour ride from Kathmandu.
